Hi Harry,
I’ve often wondered what happened to EuroGoTV and was really pleased to finally come across this blog post. It’s such a shame the site had to end. I thoroughly enjoyed the tournament coverage, the lectures, your sessions with Murugandi, and the obvious enthusiasm you brought to everything. The Go world definitely feels poorer without EuroGoTV in it.
I’m very sorry to hear about the difficult times you went through with COVID, your health challenges and the technical problems. That’s a lot to contend with but it’s good to hear you’re back to playing chess though.
I also parked Go for quite a while, but I’ve recently come back to it with fresh energy. I hope the same happens for you one day as it really is a fantastic game.
Thank you for all the years of effort you put into EuroGoTV. It meant a lot to many of us.
Best wishes,
Darius

You were the first person that welcomed me to the EGC 2019, and you were the first person I played Go with at that Congress.

Meeting you and learning later that you were the person running EuroGoTV was wonderful. For me it was like meeting an actor you admire or something like that.

I thank you for your kindness and love for the game, and for running such a wonderful project for so many years. Life goes on and we need to adapt, and those who met EuroGoTV will keep it in our hearts forever.

I wish you and your family all the best, hoping that you find joy, health and happiness in this new path.

You will be missed. I know I will miss you.

I am reading this crying like a baby, thank you all so much!!!

Thank you for all your hard work that brought together the Go community around European Go events! I hope you will retrieve the photos, as a testimony of this years of dedication to Go, crossing fingers ~wish you health and happiness, and hope to meet you someday somewhere again ~

Dear Harry, I remember very well the beginning of Eurogotv with you walking around with the small camera :) Thank you so much for your effort throughout the years. I wish you all the best!

I loved loved loved looking up tournaments on eurogotv from time to time. The pictures were always so beautiful. And seeing the games from afar felt like magic haha Such a great way to keep great memories ❤️🙏 it`s really sad that it ended but I`m very grateful to both of you !

I was happy to be part of EuroGoTV back then! Thanks for sharing and recording our memories!
Hopefully, it comes back one day, just like the old days! :D

Eurogotv was ahead of its time! 🙂 Its too bad when such good project dont work out because of go`s small popularity.
Thanks for all the hard work! I haven`t forgotten about our good times, and my brother neither :)

Thank you, to both of you, for all the years of hard work, dedication, and love you put into Go. You brought our community closer and created lasting, unforgettable memories. You’ll be missed — and never forgotten!

Thank you for all!
