Artem Kachanovsky and the Eurocrisis. An international plot!

A typical Cold War experience for last year's runner up, Artem Kachanovsky. The no.1 player from the Ukraine was one of the favourites for the title this year.

He had not won last 2 years because of bad luck.

This year, he was eager to prove himself again and to try and beat the other top players.
Unfortunately, he did not get the chance to do so.
His visa for Germany was not granted. For some reason, they did not want him in the country.

One can only guess why.

Is it because Mr. Dickhut could become champion in his absence? Or because he suspected of being a secret agent? Or is it just European buraucracy from the old days, that's rearing its ugly head?

The Germans, if we interpret the media coverage correctly, are planning to abandon the Eurozone. By doing this, they will be able to refuse visa to anyone, anytime. So, whenever the next Congress will be held in Germany (in Athens, for instance, which will be a German city pretty soon), the next champion will be German for sure.

That's what the Eurocrisis was all about: a secret plot by German Go-players, organised from the old capitol, Bonn, using Cold War diplomacy, to eliminate opposition.

The aliens who took me to their spaceship last year, told me so.

Artem, like most Ukrainian players was denied an entry to Germany because Ukraine is molesting almost all human right there ever existed. No such country should exist. Not only Germany, but most free western countries with guts and power are taking a stand against such a horrible tyranny and terror we witness in Ukraine today. So, it is indeed about politics. It has nothing to do with Mr. Dickhut. Much bigger issues are at a stake. Every friend of game of go, all over the world, is sorry for Artem (and other Ukrainians) not participating. Everyone who is not only about go, however, is happy that so called free world at least tries to make a difference, no matter how difficult it is today. Democracy everywhere is losing by being inefficient system, but it doesnâ??t mean we shouldnâ??t fight for it. We fought WW2 for example, we won much bigger fight than most people any longer understand. Sooner or later, we must fight again. Better keep on pressing horror-countries like Ukraine as much as possible. So we are sorry, Artem. You didnâ??t have it coming, but your country certainly did.
